Greenbacked Firebug Mid-Flight

This little hummingbird was an extremely cooperative subject. It took him about fifteen minutes to get used to me sitting near him, and then he just went about his business with me sitting roughly six feet away. I spent the next two hours photographing him feeding and chasing away other hummingbirds from his own private hootch stash. A very satisfying afternoon.
